Project Description : Institute of Fashion technology for FASHIONVALET
This project seeks to create a unique fashion hub for Kota Bharu and the ASEAN Fashion Capital. The core of this design is the fashion runway itself. Therefore it is the heart of the building. With any hub that seeks to create a Centre it needs to connect out to the city and the people. In this proposal, the heart, the Centre, the forum of fashion stretches out of its interior boundaries to display to Kota Bharu the innovations and designs of its industry. It is a Centre in which learning, business, creativity and community congregate together in open exchange. fashion; the product and process is on display with the concept of ‘Red Carpet’.
The privileged design is inspired based on the fashion theme that highlight every single component of the building design such as façade, interior, form and the program. The design symbolize the power of fashion industry at Kelantan in 2050 that empowered the economy by FASHIONVALET as a main catalyst.
